George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation Fellowships

The George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation

Howard fellowships support early mid-career artists and scholars to pursue proposed projects of their choosing in the areas of support offered. Support is particularly intended to augment paid sabbatical leaves. In the case of independent artists or scholars, or those without paid leaves, the Howard Fellowship would enable them to devote a substantial block of time to the proposed project. Fellowships are for $40,000 and open to any applicant who can legally live and work in the U.S. and are in their early mid-career. Fellowships will support projects in the fields of Object Based Arts, Installation Based Arts, Art History, Architecture, and Visual Culture.
