University of Alberta Fully Funded Master’s in Linguistics
The University of Alberta, based in Canada offers a fully funded Master's in Linguistics. The Department of Linguistics is unique in the Faculty of Arts in offering the degree of Master of Science. Students entering the MSc can choose from one of two options: the course-based or the thesis-based MSc. Students accepted to the MSc programs are offered funding support in the form of a Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) or a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) stipend for an 8-month period from September to April. MSc students are offered this funding for 2 years. In addition, some tuition relief is provided to international students when funds are available.
