The U.S. Department of State and Partners of the Americas has an emergency Rapid Response grant program for U.S. citizens who are former or current participants of U.S. government-funded and U.S. government-facilitated exchange programs. This grant helps alumni implement projects that bolster democratic principles and meet newly-arisen needs in the wake of the pandemic. The competition provides grants of up to $10,000 to teams of U.S. citizen alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to carry out public service projects using the skills and knowledge they gained during their exchange experiences.
