The AHO, Oslo School of Architecture and Design, based in Oslo, Norway offers a fully funded PhD in Architecture. The PhD Programme at AHO offers a multi-disciplinary research environment in design, history and theory of architecture, preservation, architecture and its technologies, urbanism, and landscape studies. Candidates financed through AHO’s own PhD positions or by externally financed AHO projects are employed by the school and receive a monthly salary during the PhD education period. AHO only accepts fully financed external PhD candidates.
