Coasts and Communities IGERT Fellowship

The Coasts and Communities Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) program at UMass Boston seeks prospective Ph.D. students across a breadth of environmental disciplines including finance and information systems, geology, ecology, marine sciences, policy, business, and governance. The IGERT program is a transdisciplinary PhD training and research program integrating knowledge across disciplines and geographies to solve our most pressing environmental challenges. Applicants should apply to one of the participating PhD programs prior to the IGERT fellowship. Fellowships are awarded for two years at $30,000 and include a tuition fee waiver and health benefits.
