NIJ’s Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) program supports doctoral students in STEM fields of study who are engaged in research that advances NIJ’s mission. Disciplines include Anthropology (physical), Biology, Chemistry, Cognitive Science, Geoscience, Geographical Information Systems, Information Sciences, Materials Science, Mathematical Sciences, Pathology, Physics, and Engineering. NIJ awards up to $1,000,000 annually in new GRF-STEM fellowships. Note, the official applicant is the academic institution, not the student.
