The University of Georgia based in Athens, GA offers a three-year fully funded MFA in Studio Art. Each year, ten exceptional students join the vibrant community of artists and scholars. They will take studio and seminar classes, supplementing their studies in the studio, art history, and art criticism with courses in other disciplines in the humanities and sciences that are relevant to their creative practice. All full-time students of the three-year MFA program are fully funded. Applicants will be automatically considered for departmental assistantships. Funding is also available from various sources to offset the cost of materials and travel related to graduate research.
