The Asia Journalism Fellowship brings together seasoned journalists from varied backgrounds and working in widely differing circumstances to live, learn and work together in Singapore for three months each year. Organized for Asian journalists and held in Asia, this program enriches individuals and builds lasting bridges of friendship across borders of this vast continent. Fellows work on individual research projects of their choice and participate in a semi-structured program designed to sharpen professional skills and deepen their understanding of trends in media, communication and Asia. Fellows will have access to key newsmakers in Singapore’s public sector, the business community, and civil society, gaining insights into the challenges faced by this dynamic multi-ethnic and multi-religious city-state.
