Ball State University, based in Muncie, Indiana offers a fully funded master of architecture. They offer two options for completing the master of architecture professional degree. A two-year M.Arch professional degree is for students seeking licensure, and a three-year M.Arch program is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than architecture. The Department of Architecture provides Graduate Assistantships; each GAs receives stipends and tuition waivers. If students mention their interest in an assistantship in their admission letter they are automatically considered, no additional application is required. Opportunities are teaching assistantship, research assistantship, and administrative assistantship.
