The Gold Student Summer Fellowships program offers opportunities for medical students to undertake a research or service project related to community health and to develop skills to become compassionate, relationship-centered physicians. Gold Student Summer Fellowships improve the health and lives of traditionally underserved populations. Medical students at an accredited U.S. or Canadian school of allopathy or osteopathy, or at an international school with a Gold Humanism Honor Society chapter, may apply for either the Research or Service Fellowship. Students may apply as individuals or in a group. The grant award includes a stipend for a single project of up to $4,000 for a 10-week period.
