The North Carolina STEM Policy Post-Graduate Fellowships provide graduate students from North Carolina colleges and universities with opportunities to serve full-time for a year in high-level state government offices, focusing on policy topics related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Each fellowship includes a competitive stipend totaling $52,500 for the year. In addition, $2,000 in travel support is provided. A master’s or advanced degree in STEM or a STEM-related discipline from an accredited NC institution of higher education is required for the NC STEM Policy Post-Graduate Fellowship. Applicants must either be enrolled in such a degree program or would have completed their degree before the Fellowship started.
