Senior/Elder applicants, aged 62 or older, are provided a full tuition scholarship by the Northern Michigan University School of Health and Human Performance. The school offers Bachelor’s programs in: Applied Exercise Science and Health; Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management; Athletic Coaching Education; Sports Science Major; Health and Physical Education Secondary Education, as well as a Master’s in Athletic Training and a Master’s in Exercise Science. To be eligible for this program, the senior citizen should apply for admission (no application fee) to the Admissions Office.
