The Buddha Fellowship is a social responsibility initiative by The Buddha Institute. Individuals involved with an enterprise impacting the lives of vulnerable people are encouraged to apply. Extended over a period of 24 months the fellowship builds the capacity of Buddha Fellows by linking them with a rural community, unlocking grants and private capital, providing mentoring by leading experts, and enabling access to labs and facilities. Development entrepreneurs in operation for at least two years and connected to a for-profit organization interested in direct ground impact in India are eligible. As part of the program, they can expect a maximum of up to INR 25 lakhs.
