The Center for the Humanities at Tufts University offers residential fellowships to postdoctoral scholars in the humanities, humanistic sciences, and the arts. The fellowship is for one year, with the possibility of an extension for a second year. The fellow will take a leading role in a university-wide collaborative research project to examine the history of slavery, colonialism, and their legacies at Tufts. Eligible applicants are junior scholars with expertise in African American History, Afro-Indigenous Studies, Public History, and/or the History of Universities. The fellow will receive a stipend of $60,000, will be eligible for Tufts University health benefits, and will have a workspace at the Center for the Humanities.
