Tulane University, based in New Orleans, Louisiana offers a fully funded PhD in Art History and Latin American Studies. A Joint Program of the Art History Program of the Newcomb Art Department and the Stone Center for Latin American Studies. The joint PhD program unites a disciplinary grounding in art history with the breadth and comparative perspective of Latin American Studies. Students in the Ph.D. program are fully funded. Financial aid will be available in the form of fellowships, teaching assistantships, and tuition waivers. For those entering the PhD program from the BA, up to five years of funding may be awarded.
