Tulane University, based in New Orleans, Louisiana offers a fully funded PhD in Latin American Studies. The design of the Ph.D. curriculum in Latin American Studies is dependent upon the student’s particular research interests. All qualified applicants are welcome interested in pursuing interdisciplinary research in Latin American Studies. Fellowships and Scholarships generally include a tuition waiver and a modest living stipend, and Fellowship/Scholarship decisions are made at the same time as admissions decisions. Ph.D. Candidates must either serve as a Teaching Assistant or as a Research and Project Associate.
