Students in the University of Alabama College of Arts & Sciences Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Program study literature, take a broad range of forms classes, and can choose courses from across the University. Students are guaranteed full financial support for up to 4 years, including assistantships that provide a $15,120 monthly stipend, paid over nine months, and full payment of up to 15 credit hours of graduate tuition. MFA students are also eligible for additional awards, including fellowships and assistantships, to cover research and travel expenses.
