The University of Colorado Boulder offers a fully funded master’s in communication and journalism. The master’s degree provides students with knowledge of communication scholarship and develops their ability to analyze complex communication situations. The master’s degree in journalism prepares students for professional success in news outlets, digital and social media platforms, and corporate communications. All entering MA and PhD students currently are funded. The primary source of funding is teaching assistantships, which provide full tuition remission and a stipend (salary) during the academic year.
