The University of Minnesota, based in Minneapolis, MN offers a fully funded PhD in Feminist Studies. The department admits three-to-four new students each year ensuring a strong and successful match between students’ academic interests and goals with the intellectual strengths of the faculty. All students admitted to the PhD program are promised five years of full funding through a combination of competitive fellowships, teaching assistantships, and/or research assistantships. This combination of funding includes full tuition, a 9-month stipend, and health insurance. In addition, a lump sum of $10,500 for research and travel and fees.
