The University of Oregon, based in Eugene, OR offers a fully funded PhD in Cultural Anthropology. Each prospective graduate student should select an anthropological subdiscipline. Cultural anthropology at the UO embraces a diverse array of approaches to the study of culture and society. Cultural anthropology faculty conduct research in South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, West Africa, North America and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. All applicants to the graduate program in Anthropology will be considered for Graduate Employee positions. These fellowships come with a full tuition waiver, health insurance, and a modest monthly stipend. Students making good progress in the program typically receive approximately four years of departmental support.
