The University of Toronto, based in Canada offers a fully funded PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The PhD program introduces students to cutting-edge knowledge, guided by their world-renowned faculty. Students go on to careers in many fields in engineering and academia. Ph.D. students who are making satisfactory progress toward the completion of their degree receive a financial support package. The guaranteed period of funding is 4 years for PhD students, & 5 years for direct-entry PhD students. Each year the total minimum funding ECE stipend of $20,000 plus the student’s tuition & fees for the academic year as set by the University of Toronto.
