The primary mission of the doctoral program in Public Health is to provide scholars with the disciplinary background and skills required to contribute to the development of the understanding of better ways to measure, maintain and improve the public’s health. There are 6 Ph.D. tracks: biostatistics, chronic disease epidemiology, environmental health sciences, epidemiology of microbial diseases, health policy & management, and social & behavioral sciences. All students accepted into the Ph.D. program will receive funding that consists of a stipend, full tuition, and health insurance.
