New 2022-2023 Fulbright U.S. Student Program Awards for Students and Young Professionals

May 10, 2021
There are a number of new 2022-23 Fulbright awards in Taiwan for graduate study.

Fulbright fellowships are an excellent funding opportunity for Americans to undertake graduate study, research, or teach abroad! In the 2022-2023 Fulbright award season, there will be a number of brand new awards in three world regions from the Fulbright program. These awards fall under the umbrella of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which offers two main types of grants. The U.S. Student Program for Study/Research allows recent graduates and early career professionals from the U.S. to undertake individually designed study/research projects that will take place during one academic year (9-12 months) in a country outside the U.S. On the other hand, the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships (ETA) place recent college graduates and young professionals from the U.S. in classrooms abroad for up to 1 year to provide assistance to the local English teachers.

In 2022-23, there will be over 2,150 different Fulbright grants on offer in over 140 countries. This year’s deadline for U.S. Fulbright awards is Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 5 pm Eastern Time. Be sure to confirm the deadline for the program you choose to apply for on the Fulbright website.
